March 16th, 2011

After getting breakfast today with Geetha at Foodworx (YUCK, who eats breakfast?!), Geetha left to the airport as I departed to EH&S for work. It’s definitely a good thing that I decided to stay and work for 2 days after my finals, because I found out I forgot to submit my timesheet for the previous pay period (which means in two weeks I will get paid double)!. I snapped a picure of the exterior of my workplace that is Pepper Canyon. [I specifically work on the 4th floor if anyone wants to visit.] After work, I skipped lunch due to my bloated breakfast, and headed back to my place, for some much needed R&R (rest, and relaxaton). I watched a few episodes of YuGiOh: Abridged faling in and out of a much needed slumber. Inevitably I would wake up and eat dinner with Amul at CV, and carry out the rest of the night playing Emulated Games (which included YuGiOh). Oh, and I bought my Glee concert tickets. May 29th will definitely be a day to remember! :)

"PREDICTABLE" was how the Drudge Report described President Obama’s Final Four picks in a tweet last night. The Sports Grid blog called them downright "boring." It is true that the president did not go out on a limb when he told ESPN that top seeded Duke, Kansas, Ohio State, and Pitt are his Final Four picks this year. But this is not exactly out of character for the president. For the fourth straight year that Obama has publicly filled out NCAA brackets, he has consistently stuck with the safe picks. Of the 16 teams the basketball-playing politician has picked over the years in his Final Four brackets, 12 were number one seeds, three were number two seeds, and one was a "distant" fourth seed. One might go so far as to wonder if Obama thought Hillary Clinton would win the 2008 Democratic nomination for president! DAMMIT, this president needs to get his damn priorities straight and fix our broken country. >:(

On March 16th, 1915, The Federal Trade Commission was organized following the Federal Trade Commission Act in 1914. Its principal mission is the promotion of "consumer protection" and the elimination and prevention of what regulators perceive to be "anti-competitive" business practices, one of it’s roles is to enforce antitrust laws. GReATTTTTT LAWW…. not really.

P.S.: Pokemon
